About the Project
YUKS Foundation successfully organized the Women Empowerment Through Digital Skills & Livelihood Development Program to strengthen the economic and social empowerment of rural women. The initiative focused on providing practical skill development, digital awareness, entrepreneurship guidance, and access to modern technology that enables women to become financially independent.
As part of this project, women participated in professional training sessions covering digital literacy, government schemes, small business development, self-employment opportunities, and entrepreneurial skills. To support their learning journey, eligible participants were also provided with smartphones, enabling them to access online education, digital banking, government services, and business resources.
The program was conducted in collaboration with industry experts, training institutions, and community leaders to encourage women to develop sustainable livelihoods and confidently participate in the digital economy.
